On July 22nd, I brought my laptop to this so-called repair shop because it suddenly stopped turning on. Instead of going through the standard procedure — giving me a receipt, a service ticket, or even a sticker with a number — they just wrote my name down on a scrap of paper. No confirmation, no tracking. This already felt unprofessional, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.
They promised to inspect the device and call me right away to explain the issue and discuss the repair costs. And what do you think happened? Nothing. No call. No message. I waited for several days — complete silence.
Since I don’t speak Nederlands very well, I returned to the shop a few days later with someone who could speak fluent English to avoid misunderstandings. That’s when the real nightmare started.
The technician — the person who was supposed to help — turned out to be rude, unwelcoming, arrogant, and dismissive. He claimed my laptop was “beyond repair” due to a supposedly damaged motherboard. When I asked for more information, he responded sharply and irritably. I asked:
“Why didn’t you call me right away to tell me this? I’ve been waiting.”
His answer was blunt and rude:
“I’ve got a lot to do, I didn’t have time.”
Excuse me — is that how you treat a paying customer? I left my laptop in good faith and expected at least a minimum level of communication and respect.
Then, of course, I asked to get my laptop back, since — according to him — there was no point in repairing it. And that’s when things got even worse. He was reluctant to return it, acting like I was being unreasonable for simply asking for my own device. His tone became even harsher and more aggressive, like I was the problem.
🔧 But the most shocking part happened at home.
I plugged in my “beyond repair” laptop — and it TURNED ON. It works. Fully. No broken motherboard. No issues. No signs of the so-called fatal hardware failure they had claimed.
So now I have just one question:
What was the point of all this?
• Why didn’t they call me?
• Why did they try to convince me my laptop was dead?
• Why did they hesitate to give it back?
• And what would’ve happened if I had just trusted their word and left it there?
The answer seems obvious: this shop is run by unprofessional, rude, and possibly dishonest people. No respect for customers, no accountability, no proper diagnostics. Just laziness, arrogance, and an effort to push customers away when they ask questions.
I will never go back to this place again, and I strongly advise others to stay away! If you value your time, your money, and your nerves — go somewhere else. Better to pay a little more and get help from people who understand what real service means.
