Discovered this gem on a rainy day.
Not a standalone look-at-me box, but an inspiring place. Free from any preconceived notions. It doesn't stop at the basic idea: "What if we build a library under a parking garage and provide access via a walking path and flower garden?" You can sense the designers' enthusiasm: oh yeah, and what if we create a mini café at the top, and a reading garden, and round off the interior corners under the slope, and..., and..., and...
Unfortunately, it's only open on Saturday mornings. That makes it harder for outsiders to access.
The library is part of a regional library network. So you can borrow a book (I haven't mentioned it yet) and, if you live in the region, bring it in to your local library!
