I brought my laptop for a checkup after I assumed that there was water damage due to leaked water bottle (laptop started making strange clicking noises). I told the shop directly "check for the water damage". I get my laptop back and I am told that it was just the dust and it is now fine. In 3 days laptop stops working. I did not bring it back because once I got my laptop returned, they tried to take double the money amount I agreed on initially (I indicated that if extra costs were necessary, to inform me via phone so that I could agree to them).

Now, 1.5 years later, I bring my laptop to the specialist I know well in my home country (I was studying in Vlissingen). Just out of curiosity about why it stopped working after everything was told to be "fine". Guess what? Water damage. I was told that if it was cleaned immediately, my laptop would have been still working. The water damage was on another side of the lid, so I guess they were too lazy to take the laptop apart to actually check for that one thing I asked them to check for. It would require 300-400 euros to repair it now.

They also tried to scam me for a charger.

The first guy I spoke to was mega nice. Everything following this interaction was terrible.
