A warning to everyone considering to buy something from Mediamarkt in Woluwe!

I’ve bought a washing machine and a dryer including delivery and installation in January. The Sales Team is kind and competent but what followed the purchase is rock bottom!

The dryer did not work after installation- even though the delivery team had checked it! Of course I figured that out after they left and called the hotline…

The machine has been picked up two days later but after several calls with the hotline almost everyday and 4 promises that a new machine will be delivered - nothing happened! It’s contracted, payed and no one in their service team is giving a shit that I’m still without the machine!

If you want to be hassle free and have peace of mind - buy somewhere else!

I don't like this place according to experience buying. Staff need training. one of the shop managers is really good. Long queue on Saturdays to pay.

Warranty protection here is an illusion. My defective purchase became weeks-long nightmare of administrative warfare. They bet on customers giving up rather than honoring basic consumer rights. If you can't navigate complex dispute processes or lack strong documentation skills, you'll lose money. Many better retailers exist.
