Let me tell you a short story. After two days talking with several Telenet operators for registering my home internet, they finally told me that I can only register with my passport in one of their representative stores, and the closest one to me was Blue Sky Computing. So I went there and the man told me that it is impossible to register with passport, you should only register with your national Belgian ID! I insisted that the operator told me to come here with my passport, and he told me it is impossible. He also asked a colleague and he said so. So I was getting mad and was crazy without internet at home after couple of weeks.
I went to my bike in front if the store and started to searching for an alternative with my phone. A minute later the man came out to smoke and suddenly saw me and said "I just called a colleague and he told me that it is possible if you have a passport from your country". And it was what I was telling them all that time. I told him yes I do have the passport! And he was like I didn't know, so let's do it now ...
