Let me explain. I went to this phone repair shop because my screen was cracked, so far so good.

I left, my screen was fixed, even though the salesperson couldn't find anything to protect it with (after 15 minutes of searching) using those famous screen protectors.

Three weeks later, as if by magic, my battery stopped working. It's strange, but it happens...
even though I'd never been alerted to any problem that would have led me to believe my battery was faulty.

So I left with a new battery that the salesperson assured me was an original manufacturer's part.

Two weeks later, guess what? My battery was swollen.

I went back to this "repair shop," explained that this was quite a lot, and they took my phone back with the receipt (which I had thankfully kept). They replaced the battery for free (3-month warranty) but refused to give me the old battery and wouldn't give me another 3-month warranty either. Why? It's a new battery, but the old one is still mine, and the warranty should be extended since it's a new part.

Don't they trust their own equipment? Are they hiding something from us? To top it all off, my battery works, but the back cover wasn't properly attached at all, just with some flimsy tape—not what you'd expect from a reputable repair shop. I'll let you judge the back cover for yourselves from the photos.

(I had put my phone, without its case, on my car's magnet. Since it no longer fit in its case after the battery inflated, the back of the phone stayed on the magnet, and the rest of it was on the ground.) You get the picture... don't go there.
