Super comfortable.
Beautiful rooms and clean.
People speaks French, Dutch and English.
It is a big place so 1 day is not enough.
It is better to go during the summer because during winter most animals do not appear.
Food is delicious and the all you can It is perfect. Other restaurants in the area are 40 euros per person.

This place is huge.... And very beautiful. A lot of the restaurants were closed... So we didn't have a lot of options... But still we had a great time. My heart broke to see a mighty bird like the condor in a small cage, but I think they were working on that part. The room was clean, the toilets in the park spotless... Everyone was very friendly. Worth the visit.

Amazing! I booked the walrus room after looking at available reservations for 3 months. When it finally appeared, I booked as soon as I could. I believe we had the best room possible! We had an end unit of the walrus enclosure that was next to the baby walrus area (there was a baby walrus separated, so the mom was always hanging out in front of our window, and the boys always swam near her). Best thing, I got my kids a walrus stuffed animal, and when my kids held it against the window, the mother followed it around. The pullout couch's mattress is pretty old, but my kids slept on it and didn't complain (they're also only 4 & 6). It was expensive (I saved enough for 2 nights stay), but the hotel stay does include parking, the zoo entrance, early/late access to roam the park, and breakfasts and dinners as well.

The actual zoo was pretty beautiful, and thought out properly. Unfortunately bc we went in the wintertime (late Dec), a lot of the animals stayed in their warm enclosures but the park was still had all kinds of animals. The design and layout was cool. The best part was the suspension bridges that went across the zoo and into the huge playground, where my kids were most of the time.
