Bray Tower Loop Walk has stunning scenery. You can still do loop even though there is restoration work being carried out. Perfect view of the skeilogs and the blankets to turn and look inland to see portmagee and beyond. A must for anyone visiting the island.

Listed as a 2km walk (but uphill) at a 15-25° incline. The Car Park at the foot of the hill was €2 and theres some picnic benches on scene. This is a 30-40 minute leisurely walk ascent for the aerobically fit. For those with dodgy knees and hips, like me, just remember that it's not a race. There's parts of the trail that level out at places and give you an opportunity to rest up and take in the spectacular scenery, and it is picture-postcard spectacular, especially when the weather's good. The Signal Tower was under renovation when I went there. No mention of a proposed coffee shop so bring refreshments. Oh nearly forgot, even on the best of days, be prepared weatherwise. The Atlantic Sea can be unforgiving. Good footwear and a windbreaker at least. Cheer up, apart from the Car Park, it's all free.

The viewers are stunning. The walk is pretty easy going up gradually. Note, this is up towards the new being build view tower. We couldn't do the complete loop because there was too much wind
