After an error code appeared, I took my car to GO SELF GARAGE, only to find an unexpected piece of wood under the hood. Trusting the garage, I didn't immediately check the work they'd done. It wasn't until seven days later, when I experienced a starting problem caused by the same error code reappearing, that I discovered the issue. After this initial repair, I was forced to return the car to the garage for a proper fix. Believing the problem was resolved after this second visit, I was surprised to find, not a piece of wood, but foam protruding from the coolant reservoir, a damaged oil dipstick, and a replaced but unsecured cable—signs of shoddy workmanship.

The after-sales service was appalling: after paying €180 for the initial diagnosis and repairs, then €70 for towing after the breakdown, I was asked for an additional €50 to correct these poorly executed repairs.

As for the piece of wood initially found, despite the obvious risks it posed to the engine, such as overheating, risk of seizing, or even damage to the water pump, the mechanic downplayed the incident, calling it trivial.

I cannot stress enough that if you care about your vehicle and are looking for economical yet effective repairs, it would be wise to avoid this garage, as it delivers on none of these promises.
